Safety Coordinator / Manager – CA
Sigma Stretch Film of Riverside, CA is accepting applications for the position of Safety Coordinator / Manager.
We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
Sigma Stretch Film of CA is looking for someone to oversee and manage our Safety program, as a Safety Coordinator / Manager you will help facilitate compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines and Maintain our Safety programs. Your main goal will be to facilitate a safe working environment while utilizing our programs currently in place.
- Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics from our Safety Program
- Review existing policies and procedures and update as necessary
- Adhere to all the rules and regulations
- Work with HR and Plant Manager with the on-boarding process for safety
- Conduct risk assessments
- Enforce preventative measures for employee safety
- Monitor employees to insure they are acting in adherence with rules and regulations of our safety guidelines
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
Other Safety related tasks.
Requirements:
Extensive background in Safety is not required but helpful
